Jimi Ballard enjoyed a long career in technology, including over 17 years at Oracle Corporation. He ended his tech career there as head of The Oracle Education Foundation, promoting education with technology. OEF created programs used by schools, educators, and students in over 70 countries. Since then, Jimi has worked as a real-estate developer, Innkeeper, entrepreneur, and investor, while also serving on non-profit boards for Knowbility, Inc. and The Austin Zen Center. Jimi joined the AJW Board in November 2023.
