Michael Stevens has obtained his BM in Jazz Studies from Howard University in Washington , D.C. while studying under pianist and recording artist Geri Allen. While in D.C., Mr. Stevens was an instructor for D.C. Artworks Summer Youth Program. In Austin, he has worked with James Polk, Pam Hart, Blaze, and Tina Marsh’s Circle of Light.
